Milling Machines

Radiant Dental Designs operates three brands of milling machines: Imes-Icore, Ivoclar, and Arum. Recognizing the unique preferences and talents of our technicians, we maintain a diverse range of machinery to stay committed to monitoring and updating existing technology as it advances.

Milling machines play a crucial role in producing partial or full restorations using digital or physical impressions. They can work with materials like zirconia, resins, ceramics, wax, or alloys to create copings, abutments, crowns, implants, bridges, and more. With different capacities and optimal performance with specific materials, our continuous education and close ties with manufacturers ensure the accuracy and efficiency of delivering restorations to your dental office.

Arum Milling Machine

The Arum milling machine, known for its low maintenance and high reliability, offers universal compatibility with various intraoral scanners. With 5-axis milling for simultaneous production, an automatic tool changer prevents delays due to worn or broken instruments. The high-performance spindle adds to the ±5㎛ accuracy in your patients’ prostheses.

Arum can fabricate custom abutments, bridges, dental bars, inlays/onlays, crowns, and copings using materials such as Lava Ultimate®, titanium, zirconia, Co-Cr, Ni-Cr, PMMA, glass ceramic, wax, and more. A dedicated water tank for zirconia production emphasizes our focus on producing restoratives quickly for dental offices using our services.

Zenotec Models from Ivoclar Wieland

Zenotec models from Ivoclar Wieland offer partial and full automaticity, enabling Radiant Dental to fabricate restorations within an hour or produce multiple cases overnight. The 16-position tool changer automatically substitutes worn instruments, ensuring efficient production without operator intervention.

These milling machines process both dry and wet operations. Dry operations involve materials like waxes, CoCr, zirconia, and acrylics, while wet operations use glass ceramics, composites, and acrylic substances. The compact structure of Zenotec, combined with its CAM software, reduces the footprint and lowers the cost of producing patients’ restorations. Optimized milling geometries and strategies in Zenotec’s CAM software provide enhanced computing times and additional nesting room.

CORiTEC from iMES-iCORE

iMES-iCORE’s CORiTEC offers heavy-duty fabrication capabilities, producing up to 90 units without changing tools. It can work with materials like aluminum oxide, NP-alloys, titanium, zirconium oxide, resins, and wax for creating prostheses and restorations. CORiTEC supports both dry and wet milling operations.

The products that CORiTEC machines can produce include inlays, onlays, crowns, bridge frameworks, veneers, sport splints, bite splints, night guards, removable partials, and abutments. Radiant Dental’s CORiTEC millers can produce abutments within 20 – 30 minutes.
